The challenge
The idea worked, but the product behind it was held together with Google Sheets, Zapier, and a lot of manual steps. That was enough to prove the concept, but it couldn't handle real customers or real data, and it definitely couldn't scale. To sell the product to actual companies, they needed a real platform, and they didn't have one yet.
The results
We shipped the first production release in four months, and it went live with real companies using it. What had been a manual proof of concept became a product the team could actually sell and onboard customers onto. Amara Insights runs on that platform today.
What we did
We came on as their engineering partner and built the production version from scratch. A two-person team, Ali and one engineer, designed and shipped the whole thing: the user interface, the backend, and the cloud infrastructure it runs on. None of the prototype's shortcuts carried over.
